Frugal Friday Fun

Green Pig in Central displayMost of us don’t mind having fun that costs a little less….as long as it is just as fun as the costlier kind! Here are a few frugal AND fun ideas to get you ready for the weekend.

First, take advantage of the library’s museum passes program. With your SPL card, you can reserve and print out an admission pass to participating Seattle museums at no charge!

ebooks and downloads circleIf you are more of a homebody, consider these options for music, magazines and armchair travel. From our e-books and downloads page, on the right, you can click on some great content for your computer or mobile device.  Freegal and hoopla are popular ways to get music downloads, Zinio lets you look at magazines, and the travel e-book collection will take you all over the world.

Last but not least, whatever the weather, you can try out the great new techniques you learned about in the savvy shopper post this past Tuesday.  Remember, frugal is not a bad word. It’s Money Smart!
