You may have noticed on our website that this autumn on Monday nights, Delridge Library is hosting a six-week workshop for anyone wanting to start and run a home-based food business. This event is cosponsored by the Center for Inclusive Entrepreneurship, and registration is required.
Perhaps you have been making food gifts for many years that you like to give friends and family, and now you feel ready to step up your game. Perhaps you are tired of working for that man and want to work for yourself. Perhaps you have been unemployed for some time and want to put your creative energy to work. Our program will offer a great introduction so you can learn about: rules and regulations, marketing, keeping records, financing, packaging and required labels. Not only this but you will get a chance to commiserate with like-minds and find inspiration. Find information and registration here.
There are no required textbooks, but here is some recommended reading!
