On May 26th, the Puget Sound Business Journal (PSBJ) recognized the “2016 Outstanding Voices” for individuals and companies committed to workplace equality. Additionally, in partnership with the Greater Seattle Business Association, PSBJ is publishing their first LGBTQ-Owned Business Listmakers. The LGBT Business Builder, the historic new partnership between the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), is a powerful tool to strengthen the LGBT Business Community at both the local and national level. And it’s coming to the Central Library on Thursday, June 2nd!
I just finished a great read for those passionate about supporting startups in any community. Startup Communities, by Brad Feld, relies on the example of Boulder, Colorado to illustrate how a community can help startups thrive.
